Soon after proudly owning a 2Wire system in the past I would certainly advise generating certain that your server is port fowarded effectively. Make confident that you statically assign your IP tackle with one thing outdoors of your DHCP assortment since relying on some routers running DHCP the IP that has the port forwarding assigned to it will be offered out to a various pc.

You have to set a port forwarding on your router for TCP port 1723 , that allows a GRE tunnel be established.
Another good thing to have is a public and static IP address or a DDNS setup to be able to use a name instead of an IP address to access your external port of your router.
